PrivateLink (Ingress) use cases

Use PrivateLink (Ingress) with the following use cases:

• Database Read Replica access
• API access to Right-Hand-Side applications such as ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, and Integration Gateway from services running in your AWS VPC using Private Link

Take note of the following:

• Your AWS VPCs must reside in the same region as their respective Guidewire Cloud Platform NPE, Pre-prod, or Prod VPCs. If cross-region support is required, VPC peering may support those requirements.
• Matching of three Availability Zones (AZs) is recommended to ensure high availability. However, you can choose to configure PrivateLink (Ingress) by aligning one or two Availability Zones.
• Only HTTPS (port 443) is supported. You are responsible for DNS and routing within your VPC for requests directed to Guidewire domains.
