Delete InsuranceSuite apps

You can delete all the InsuranceSuite apps on a planet.

Note:

Access to this feature is managed by Guidewire Hub. For details, see Access Cloud Platform apps and services.

You can't delete the InsuranceSuite apps in the following cases:

• During any activity on a given planet, for example, deployment, selective deployment, or rollback.
• When the Block database drop option is set to On for a planet.
• When Cloud Platform is in the maintenance mode. To check the GWCP Production Maintenance windows, see https://status.guidewire.com.

Warning:

When you delete an app, you also drop the app database for this planet.

To delete apps:

1. In Guidewire Home, select a star system.

2. From Apps, select Planets or select it from your pinned apps.

3. Select a planet to which you want to deploy the apps.

4. From Applications and add-ons, select InsuranceSuite.

5. Select Actions → Delete IS.

   To ensure that you have selected the correct planet to clear and database to drop, an additional confirmation is required before proceeding.

   Deleting apps removes the secrets and variables associated with the planet.
