This release updates Cloud Platform Tooling to version GWCP-Tooling 2.4.0 and Cloud Platform to version 1.97.0.

Note:
  • To make sure that you have the latest updates, GWCP components are made available to you as soon as they are ready for release. You might see new content as early as every two weeks, but some releases might take longer to be available.
  • It might take up to three weeks from the release date for changes to be deployed to your environment. To locate the dates and times of these maintenance events, check the Guidewire Cloud Status page.

What's new

Guidewire Cloud Console deprecated (GWCP-70845)

We have migrated all the Guidewire Cloud Console services, and they are now available from Guidewire Home. To access the Cloud Platform services, use the Guidewire Home link for your region:

You can access all the services from the Apps menu in Guidewire Home. For details on how to navigate Guidewire Home, see Access applications from the navigation panel.

Create non-production planets (GWCP-69648)

Note: Access to this application is limited to users participating in the Platform Packaging and Pricing model.
In the Planets app, you can now create:
  • Dev, QA, and UAT planets in dev star systems.
  • PreProd planets in preprod star systems.
You can also see the status of applications that are configured on these planets, delete planets, view planet details, and manage applications.

Refreshed user interface for InsuranceSuite overview in the Planets app (GWCP-49018)

In the Planets app, the InsuranceSuite overview has two new layouts:
  • Grid view
    The grid view of the InsuranceSuite overview in the Planets app.

  • Table view
    The table view of the InsuranceSuite overview in the Planets app.

In Actions, you can set the runtime properties and manage application nodes.

Restart InsuranceSuite application nodes (GWCP-58287)

In the Planets app, you can restart the nodes of the InsuranceSuite applications. This feature allows you to restart one type of nodes or only one particular node in case you run into some issues.
Note: Restarting the nodes doesn't automatically capture either thread dumps or heap dumps. If you need thread dumps or heap dumps for troubleshooting, contact Guidewire before you restart the nodes.
