Build promotion

You can promote the InsuranceSuite, EnterpriseEngage, or Solr (Advanced Search) application builds to pre-production and production star systems (physical star systems). By promoting a build, you share it within a star (logical star system) and make it available for deployment on a planet in another star system (physical star system).

You can promote a build to:

• Make it available for deployment on planets in pre-production and production star system (physical star systems).
• Test an InsuranceSuite, EnterpriseEngage, or Solr application in a pre-production star system (physical star systems) with real user data.
• Deploy the same application build to planets in a production star system (physical star system) to make your application available to your end-users.

You can promote the following builds:

• From a non-production star system (physical star system) of a pre-production star system (physical star system).
• From a pre-production star system (physical star system) to a production star system (physical star system).

You can't promote a build from a non-production star system (physical star system) directly to a production star system (physical star system).
