Inbound files integration
InsuranceSuite can integrate with external systems. The base configuration includes frameworks for processing file-based data and for creating files for external systems. With Guidewire Home, you can access applications deployed to the Guidewire Cloud Platform to configure the integrations.
To work with inbound files integration, you must use the latest version of the ManagedS3InboundConfig package.

Inbound files integration in InsuranceSuite applications
The base configuration of InsuranceSuite applications includes a framework for configuring multiple integrations with external systems. This is achieved by processing file-based data. The application provides the framework with a general processing mechanism and an interface that describes how to process data in the files.
You must provide configuration details and a class implementing the interface.

Using inbound files integration with Guidewire cloud
Inbound file integrations for cloud applications takes files stored in an Amazon S3 bucket provided by Guidewire.
To get information about the Amazon S3 bucket and prefix for storing files:
- Go to Administration → Utilities → Inbound Files in the application interface.
- Select Inbound File Configs.
Configuration details are displayed in the Amazon S3 Storage Configs tab. The Amazon S3 bucket details are visible when there is one or more configuration in the table.
Storing files in the Amazon S3 bucket
You can view and download files from the Amazon S3 bucket provided by Guidewire.
To access the Amazon S3 bucket, you need an access key. To get the access key, contact your customer partner.
