Manage IP groups
With IP groups, you can create lists of IP addresses that can access an application. After an IP group is created, you can assign it to multiple applications on different orbits (planet classes).
To manage IP groups, go to the IP groups tab.
Create an IP group
You can add a group to one or more assignments. To define a group of IP addresses that can access an application:

Select Create group.

In Details, enter a name and a description of the new IP group.
IP group names must be unique. Start an IP group name with a letter. Use upper and lower case letters, digits, and the following characters:
- Underscore (
_
) - Dash (
-
) - Period (
.
)

In IP Ranges, add IP address ranges in CIDR format:
- To add ranges in bulk, select Upload file, then select a local file containing the IP ranges.
- To add one range at a time, in Add IP Range, enter an IP range and select + Add to the Allowlist.
To make an application public, don't use the 0.0.0.0/0
CIDR. Instead, create
a public assignment.
- Select Save.
Add an IP group to assignments
To add an IP group to assignments:

In the table, find an IP group you want to add to assignments.

Select + Add group to assignments.

In Private assignments, switch a toggle next to selected assignments.
If the assignment is not on the list, create it first.

Select Save.
To verify if the group was added correctly, go to Assignments and check the Status column. If the status is Failed
, you can check more information about the error. Find the assignment on the list and select . After solving the problem, select Retry
in the Actions column.
The Private assignments list doesn't contain public assignments. You can make an assignment public in the Assignments tab.
View group details
To view details on an IP group, find it in the IP Groups table and select Show details :

Overview
Check the name, description, and IP ranges added to that group.

Assignments
Check the application, application ID, orbit (planet class), and type of that assignment.
Edit an IP group
Any changes that you make affect all the assignments that use this IP group.
To edit the IP group settings:

In the table, find the IP group you want to edit.

Select Edit

Edit the IP group settings as needed.

Description
Enter a new description of the IP group.

Add IP ranges
To add one range at a time, in Add IP Range, enter an IP range and select +Add to the Allowlist.
To add IP ranges in bulk, select Upload file, then select a local file containing the IP ranges.

Delete IP ranges
To delete a single range, find it in the IP Range column,
and then select
Delete.
To delete multiple ranges, select the checkboxes on the left side of the
IP Range table, and then select Delete.
To delete all displayed ranges, select the check box next to the
IP Range label, and then select Delete.

Select Save.
Export IP ranges
To export the list of IP ranges to a CSV file:
- In the table, find the IP group with IP ranges you want to export.
- Select Show details
.
- Select Export IP ranges.
Delete an IP group
Any changes that you make affect all the assignments that use this IP group.
To delete an IP group:
- In the table, find the IP group you want to delete.
- Select Delete
.
- Select Ok.
