Overview of post-deployment tests.

Create tests

To create post-deployment tests:

  1. Select Create tests.

You can create GT Framework Tests, GT Framework API Tests, or GT Framework UI Tests.

  2. In Details, provide the following:

    • Name

Names are case sensitive and must be unique at application level. You can use letters, digits, and special characters.

    • Branch

Name of a branch from the GuidewireTestingFramework repository. Tests run on this branch.

    • Type

GT Framework is the only option.

  3. In Target planet, provide a planet name. A successful InsuranceSuite deployment to this planet triggers the tests.

  4. In Select and configure builds, select tests.

  5. To customize build parameters, select Configure next to chosen tests.

  6. (Optional) To customize the build configuration, select Override next to each parameter and update its value.

For GT Framework Tests, select the Garmisch or later tab. For GT Framework tests, in Tested Module Name, provide the name of the gradle module from which the tests will be executed. Make sure that the test suite specified for this build is located in the module.

If tests configuration contains a disabled build, there's a warning displayed next to the configuration name.

    Note:

Customized parameters apply only to the builds triggered as post-deployment tests and override parameters specified in the default configuration of your build.

  7. Select Create.
