GT Framework

Guidewire Testing Framework (GT: Framework) test automation tools enable you to design and execute end-to-end tests for Guidewire applications running on the Guidewire Cloud Platform. GT: Framework includes GT: API for end-to-end testing of APIs, and GT: UI for end-to-end user interface tests.

GT Framework builds

In addition to running tests locally, you can use a GT Framework build setup in TeamCity. This simplifies the testing process and facilitates test standardization. You can use the following builds:

• GT-Framework Tests
• GT-Framework UI Tests
• GT-Framework API Tests

Important:

The InsuranceSuite application that you want to test must be deployed and must be at release Flaine or later.

Priority of build parameters

When you run a TeamCity build manually, create a schedule or configure post-deployment tests, you can modify the build parameters. Note that these modified values override parameters specified through other means, for example through configuration files.

If the Application Under Tests URL build parameter isn't set in TeamCity, GT Framework will retrieve it from the config.json file.
